NASCAR driver, team owner, and crew chief Mario Gosselin will be going back to his stock car origins this weekend, driving the Alloy Employer Services No. 12 in the Ninth Annual Bill Bigley Sr. Memorial 128 at the Freedom Factory on Saturday, November 30, at 6:45 p.m. ET.
Familiar with driving himself, Gosselin is well-known for his achievements as a two-car NASCAR Xfinity Series owner, operator, and crew chief. He boasts numerous wins and pole awards, along with three championship titles as a driver (USA Super Late Model Series in 1994, Hooters Cup Series in 1995, and Hooters Pro Cup Series in 1997) and two NASCAR Pinty’s Series championships as a crew chief (2014, 2017). Gosselin's passion for racing began at Hialeah Speedway and has been passed down through his family, as he and his wife, Michelle, who built this organization from the ground up, now work together with their two adult daughters, Megan and Madison.
“During this Thanksgiving season I couldn’t be more thankful for this upcoming race weekend! I’m able to get in a car again and do what I love with my family and many of those that have been beside us from day one. I’m thankful to my good friend, Josh Williams, for sharing his longtime partner Alloy Employer Services which will allow me to make this weekend a reality. I’m so thankful for my wife and daughters for all of their hard work and support behind the scenes,” Gosselin shares. “This race being held in our backyard allows for hometown support on a level that is not always available to our local fanbase and we’re really excited to have the opportunity to share it with them!”
In the world of auto racing, you'll encounter individuals who may not be biological family but become like family over time. Many of the DGM partners who have become part of this extended family are returning to support Gosselin in his pursuit of the Bill Bigley Sr. Memorial 128 trophy. His No. 12 Chevrolet Camaro features longtime partners such as Alloy Employer Services, Sticky Stuff Signs & Graphics, Durham’s Tree Service, Mainline Fleet Maintenance, and Steeltec Construction Inc.
